How the estimate works
Reclaimed hours are the smaller of your delegatable hours and the hours included in the plan, multiplied by four weeks. Time value is those hours priced at the hourly figure you set, and the last line subtracts the plan price from that value.
The maths is intentionally simple so you can sanity check it. It does not model ramp-up time, onboarding effort, or work you decide to keep.
What counts as delegatable work
Count recurring work that follows a process and does not need your judgement in the moment.

How to choose an hourly value conservatively
Pick a number you could defend to a sceptical partner. A reasonable starting point is your own realistic billable or revenue-producing rate, not your best day.
If you are unsure, run the calculator twice: once at a conservative rate and once at your target rate. The conservative figure is the one worth planning against.
